a few times i have seen an EYE looking at me, during times when i am about to fall asleep. the vision is clear, i will look at it for awhile before it goes away. the eye is blue. It looks like if it were being projected on the ceiling, kind of like in a movie. i think the eye blinked this time, i can't tell for sure, it was a bit dark in my room.
does anyone know what this means?

Star, I have seen this, too. Its just one big eye looking back at me. Like I said in a post I just wrote, I see or hear weird things right when I'm waking up. This happened a few months ago as I was drifting off to sleep I suddunly woke and saw this eye staring back at me. I was wondering what this meant, too. I took it as the third eye like jackie said. I have been reading tons of books on metaphysics and coming on this site quite frequetly and other sites on mystical topics so I took it as "start opening the third eye". If anyone else can add to its meaning please respond. Lacey

picese i have talked to one other person who has seen the eye, he meditates and said it means you are being watched. Your growth is being watched, like "they" interested in your development.
i read in a doreen vortue book that the eye is you in another dimension, the dimension where you are perfect! so it is like you are looking back at you???
the eye feels benign, feels good. like it's owner is good. I feel safe.
I have seen it twice.
I am trying to develop the ability to do readings and when i am falling asleep the images come to me easier. but when i saw the eye i was not even really--ready to go to sleep. I mean i wasn't falling asleep.
tonight i was falling asleep and it is like i remembered how to do it. i will be doing it in my dreams or inbetween dreams but during waking states it is hard to get there.
Just wondering Piceses since you saw the eye, do you get the images too?

No, Star it was like I had just fallen asleep and then upon awakening I saw this flash of an eye. It was just a powerful feeling. It was cool. The eye didn't scare me and I felt like it was apart of me. Like my third eye was waking up. I have had dreams of it before. I can't remember what was going on.
This morning I dreamt people were looking in my eyes. My ex boyfriend was there and I looked in his eye and started anyalyzing his eyes. I've read a book on iris diagnosis and his eyes had red lines in the white part and spots in his iris. I told him he must be under a lot of stress. It was weird. I'll have to interpret it later. I did have a vision the other day of an eye when I was at work. it didn't really mean anything at the time I just thought of it as a reminder to remember my spirituality.
Last week I remembered my third eye during a problem I was having. I tried to scan my neighborhood to see if these inspectors had gone through my building. I had a feeling they hadn't and I was right. Just some more comments to add to the discussion. Lacey

eh well i dont see giant eyes, but until this year i always was seing 1 or hundreds of eyes, sometimes blue soemtimes brown like mine, i also like using the eye as a sign for me put together with this other sign that hust came to me someday, anyways well i seen some in my mind, but now a days since 2005 its like anything psychic or paranormal that was linked to me was yanked out by a force, i dont see what i used to see, to what i was able to do, all my life the paranormal or atleast i think mainly the parnormal has been in my life, but then came 2005 and it jst dissapeared, recently i have been going back to reading things on magic and meditation and just plain the paranormal, i think since i started showing interested maybe 1 or 2 weird things happened but im not sure they where real or i was just imagining things for no reason

anyways i would like to know if any of you ever expirienced this and could explain to me what it was

yes I know exactly what you're talking about. in fact, this is the exact reason why i'm here. i wanted to know what the purpose of it is. i will well you my story in dealing with this eye.

first of all, i see this thing pretty all the time when my eyelids are shut. however, sometimes my sight it too foggy and i can barely make it out behind everything. this thing has a life of its own. i have seen two different sort of eyes.

the first eye i see when i'm awake and is the one i see most of the time. it's a single eye. i'm having a a very difficult time trying to descripe it, i drew a picture of it with microsoft paint but i don't know how i would get it here. i'll try my best to explain. it had like a black eyelids thing that holds the rest of the eye. where our eye would be white, its is yellow. and the pupil is black. sometimes it rolls it's eye. i don't mean like we would in a circular fashion. it rolls its eye like all the way backwards and up again. i hope that made sense.

the second eye i've only seen a few times after waking up. it doesn't seem to have its own thing going on and is just like a picture of an eye, extremely clear. like it was just drawn or something.

anyways, here's my story about the first eye. i don't remember if i saw the eye first or if i had this dream first. i was dreaming i was in the park, walked to the the swings in the park and was swinging on them,. with each swing upwards toward the sky i would see the moon. each swing up i would see a word on the moon in black writing. it said aliens gave you lazor vision. i remember it being spelled with a z. it might have been lazer, i dunno, i have should have it written down in my notebook (i hope so, maybe i was lazy). anyways, i immediately woke up. i had a vision of a blue face. and he was grinning. he had two eyes. white hair. i think he laughed too, but i didn't hear anything. then between his eyebrows this HUGE eye opened up and blinked and it the one i see now, except it seems smaller than the i saw on him. black filled my sight and that's pretty much the only thing i know about it. i remember wanting to remember what this guy looked like, i remember thinking afterwards when i weas lying down unable to get back to sleep that he sorta looked like an albert einstein with blue skin. he had a rather large forhead though in comparison.

My opinion: your brain, the pineal gland, along with making melatonin, also (especially when tuning into your own mind) produces DMT. dimethyltryptamine (hope spelled correct?)

For those who know, don't you think DMT would be it?
