I don't know if this can be relevant in this mystical forum, but I'll say it anyway. hehe Smile

I just don't know how to go about this problem!

Our house ( although unconventionally done since it's our office as well ) is said to be lucky , as told by visitors who had third eyes. ( " Don't move, this house brings you good luck", " this house brings you good fortune" , etc. ) The spirits here are specially nice and protective to my mom, who is said to have "spirit friends" that goes where she goes in this life. One time our household help planned to rob our place and run away, days before the unfortunate event transpired, the household help was shaking and frightened telling my mom that every night for 7 consecutive nights, someone was knocking her bathroom door, and the knocks were angry, and got louder and louder. My mom told me that it was maybe the spirits were angry with her for her evil plans ( her = household help )

Our house is actually quite normal. I could sense some energy that draws me to it, sometimes parts of the house scares me during night time, but still I don't see anything, which I think am lucky because I don't want to see any spirits, ever. I could just feel them.

A new household help arrived, and she came from the suburbs ( in my country, suburbs are known to have alot of occultists, and alot of people believing in the paranormal ). We didn't know that she had a belt that was prayed over ( as my mom calls the term , the belt undergone "oracion" , a Spanish term ), or casted a spell that would protect her from evil spirits, from being possessed, but the consequence was, she will be able to see EVERYTHING in our house including spirits, may it be good or evil.

Our silly household help then lent her belt to another household help , and upon wearing the belt, the other household help was able to see earthbound spirits, called in our country as "White Lady" and "Black Lady". She was shaking, and cried the whole night. My mom scolded the household help not letting her lend her belt to someone else again. That household help also told us that during mornings, when my sisters would use the car to go to school, two other spirits would go with them, also going to school. She also asked us if my grandfather was dead. My grandpa died 7 years ago, we told her, and she said that my granpa is still in the house, and is trying to give her a message, letting her sense his presence. She told my mom that our house is a mix of good and bad spirits. Well that's the story.

Upon hearing the story, I wanted to be afraid but I didn't. This forum has helped me alot understand ALOT Wink

. Instead, I felt very sad that the spirits still remained here, and didn't walk through the light.

Here's the dilemma : the household help is asking for a candle for her to "pray to the ground/land". My mom forbid her to do such because we didn't want to earn the anger of the entities in this house because they're actually harmless to our family. Should my mom allow our household help to do such, or just leave them alone? Although my personal choice is to leave them alone....

I for one, here, would stick with "Mom" ...and follow her lead ....in
this situation. She appears to have strong abilities in her own right ..
and what I'm feeling is "right" thing to do here .......In NC ..we have
a saying " if it isn't broken ...perhaps we don't need to fix it" ... As long
as no evidence of angry spirits ...we, don't need to agitate any .......

I agree! for one, spirits that don't "bother" us are really to be left alone. My mom just had a talk with her and the household help apparently can't pray the rosary because it doesn't "jive" her , she has been given a strong Latin prayer. For me, a prayer is still a prayer, may it be English, or any language as long as it comes from the heart.

I'm just bothered that she sees my grandfather. Maybe he's there to protect my family for my grandpa loved my father very much when he was alive and he was a lovable and protective person.

Desolate kitten, I agree with Victoras. I got the same feeling about the "household help" woman as I read your post. Its not her business and she should stay out of it. Keep listening to your Mom and make sure the woman isn't up to anything. Just my opinion as well. Lacey

I agree with astrotalk go with your gut and trust your instincts. I will also add that I'm a little familiar with "orishas" and all she is doing is protecting the outside portion of your home not the inside. At least that is how you explained it. So in this sense she is protecting you and your family from any unwanted spirits leaving their mark on your land. But like I and everyone else said, if you don't trust her don't allow her to do anything. Just my opinion.

Thank you for all your replies. My mom just told her off by saying to her that she considers the spirits in this house as her friends, and actually gives us alot of good luck in this business. Trying to whisper stuff ( my mom is highly dubious that she is doing this ), and trying to disrupt the balance in this household will only cause or earn the anger of the entities here. Besides, I don't have third eye, and no one in this household actually gets hurt or gets bothered by any paranormal activity. I told my mom to remind her again not to do it although i think she's very stubborn. Yes I agree, she's barely here for a month, and I don't trust her yet.
