Yes, I know. I tend to post a lot. But I wish to learn a lot.

I have for the longest time been manipulating Ki. And I want
to further my knowledge in it. Unfortunately I have no place
I can take Reiki classes, Yoga classes or the like.

Does anyone know ways I can strengthen my Ki Energy so
that I can get it to follow intent and control it on a more perfect
level?

Online resources are also welcome of course.

Read up about chakras and how you can use them more with energy. Spinning them is said to help but its best to find out what way to spin them before doing this because it can cause problems

Ki energy ALWAYS follows follows intent. (Conscious or not)

There are several disciplines that are used to develop Ki. Aikido (with Ki) is one, Chi Kung (or Qi Gong) is another and of course Tai Chi. Many(if not all) of the Martial Arts have some flavor or other of Ki development in their practices. There are a ton of books available on the net and bookstores, also most local metropolitan areas will probably have a martial art school,new age or Tai Chi class that offers some training in this. Some authors worth studying are; Mantak Chia,Dr. Jwing-Ming Yang(The Root of Chinese QiGong),Korethshi Maruyama(Aikido with Ki),Ming Pang (Life More Abundant The science of Zhineng Qigong) and many others.

As I understand it, Ki energy is not directly equivilent to the energy manifested with the more commonly known 7 chakra system, since the collection points are different and the channels are different,the techniques for its development are different, as well as the effects. There is probably a close relationship with one or two of the lower chakras, especially relating to health and physical energy, but it appears to have a different function than that which is manifested in the chakras themselves. Adepts in this discipline are able to accumilate a large degree of this energy, which can be focused internally or projected externally to produce effects. We all have it, but simply havn't taken the trouble to become consciously aware of it or trained in its accumilation and application.

Would it be ok if i mix Ki and Elemental energy (fire= my fav element Razz

)and created my own technique for example: for creating a fire ball:= i put all my Ki on my fist until it becomes engulfed, then i suddenly open it visualizing how it explodes, creating a fire ball..i`m just starting with ki and would have a great start!

-lol- thanks, but I`ve already done it!..Don`t expect to see visible fire from a 13-y/o!!! I`ve done really hot fireballs, theyre not 100% visible, but they seem like transparent, wavy balls...how much do you know about ki!? u seem to really know..since the ki is located IN THE HERA OR TAN TIEN...if I move it to one place nothing bad will happen, I`d only have to get a bit more of Ki....and I wouldn`t melt my hand!, It is my Ki! IT CANT HURT ME!`And I don`t wish to hurt someone... I wanna do this just because fire is my element, I want to learn more from itbut I swear it`ll be a useful someday, when the day comes, I`ll tell you, but I guess you`ll get to know by yourself.
Now, you seem to be really sceptic! Am I right?

I think alot of fighters out there are afraid of the truth. They're simply not smart enough to understand what sort of energy can be harnessed from ki energy. I am a devout proponent of ki development in combination with classical training. It took me from white belt to black belt in jiu jitsu in just 9.5 months (that was 4 years ago), whereas another kid I started with at the same time still has at least a year to go, because he doesn't focus on his inner energy. He's weak and there is no power in his strikes. Anyway, you guys have to know that you can't just focus on ki, but have to work on fighting too so that you can put them together. I am, however, very insistent upon training at home and saving your money. You can get as much information from the internet as you can from a dojo, pretty much more, for much less. I use mainly videos and books now, as many as I can get, and go to the dojo once a month for a sparring session with the black belts to work what I've learned. Anyway, I've started a site with the help of my master in order to help grow the web martial arts community. If you guys want feel free to post opinions at http://mamayhem.blogspot.com

if u join a yahoo group for reiki that works too, free attunements. Im getting attuned very soon. Just get a yahoo email, if you dont have one, you dont have to use it or nothing though.

if this is possible i would love to learn it, but i have a question how have you gotten this far. i new to this stuff and i dont know if fire is my element or not. but iam a pyro if that consitutes for any thing. sounds realy cool love to here from ya

hey you know i really want to learn it too and i have triede very hard to create i fireball or a ebergy ball but nothing have happened!!

But...something else have happened now i can feel my Ki in my stomach and when im conentrating that energy when i hit or kick it hits harder! i dont know how but is it possebil that i have to have a higher Ki before i can create fireballs?
