I stumbled upon this while searching for stuff on servitors, which I heard were similar to constructs but very different in practice.

I ended up finding a lot of information, and I think I could pull quite a few of them off if I wanted to.

HOWEVER, it seems that a lot of this stuff has the possibility, a very strong one, of backfiring. Like servitors. All sorts of strange stories of what can happen.

I'd like to ask if anyone has more practical experience with this, and can give their own view on the subject at hand? If its too dangerous, I might just stick with the basics I have, but I do wish to grow spiritually and energetically, and Chaos magic seems to, SEEMS to offer a simple, easily taught way to do so.

Thoughts?

the old addage is don't summon anything you can't banish. how can you know what you can summon until you try, right? chaos (chaos/khaos/kaos/xaos) magick in its very nature experimental and of course very chaostic (if done right or wrong for that matter). i won't say i have much experience with chaos magick or its schools of thought, since i started my study and practice with psionics based on uncle chuckies books. I pushed forward with shamanism (coyote was a fun guild during those days and into my stint with chaos magick) and radionics. All i can say for this rant about me is to just give it a shot and if it doesn't work well than their are a million ways to get r' done. To stay on topic though i've had success with creating thoughtforms using psionics though if that helps any.

Just to throw a bit of me into this and just to confuse a little about the chaos current. I start my operations with a ritual desighned to align me with the kabalistic current and then using techniques learned from quantum sorcery i cast a circle. i perform whatever operation i'm doing then i just walk away from it knowing that the operative setup will eventually dissolve back into the ether. in case it doesn't i have a supply of sage to burn to clear the air so to speak. chaos magic lets you draw from any all beliefs and practices to achieve tangible goals.

That sounds like a Chaote to me. I've tried using sigils with success.

Two of my paychecks where I expected very little cash turned out to have double what I thought they would. Yes. First time I used a sigil for wealth.

I've considered trying to make a servitor(ever heard of a 'find it fairy'?) and I've read great and bad things about them. Any experience with Servitor's Gemneye?

I've never heard of the 'find it fairy.' When I started working with psionic thoughtforms (radionic created servitors) i created one that would let me know if my brother was going to band practice. it was very successfull. I also created one that acted like a psionic vampire that would bring energy to me from my classmates (feminine energy tasted better to me than masculine). That one back fired on me when i tried to change the programming ( can't remember to what though). It came back at me and took all my vital energy out with one fell swope. i caught the flu shortly after. I had it housed in a silver ring, after it went rogue on me the ring seemed to just have disappeared. of course all this went down in '97 so i have had many years to learn and refine my skills and techniques. yeah, i've claimed being a chaote before. i'm just an eclectic mash-up of many things.

Haven't tried Runes

Went through with Chaos Magick. Its pretty cool stuff. I'll have to write a more detailed report of my occurences another time, since I'm busy right now.

As for common description for Chaos Magick... its a real odd one.
You won't find a wiki description that will do it justice.

Thats a guide to making sigils. One of the cornerstones of Chaos Magick.

It gets results... but like I said Chaos is an odd one. No clear set of rules like any of the ceremonial paths.

Check it out. Try it. See if its something you wanna look into. I know I had some success with it, but I don't want to stick with it consistently at the moment.

chaos magick is just that; chaos. consider chaos as unmanifested manifestations. it s wide open to interpretation and techniques. it is what you make of it. it gives freedom to freestyle on the metaphysic mic.

as far as why feminine tatse better than maculine energy, its just a matter of personal tatse.

I have used a lot of chaos magick, especially banishing and invocation. I have never had any problems with it, except for nausea every once in a while.

I've done tons of repeatable successful experiments with chaos magick too and never had any negative side effects.

Chaos Magick is like Open Source reality engineering.. Totally workable in its own right but never set in stone...and totally editable...

Intuition is what guides each chaos magick operation and is totally dependant on the magickian...

Any more guides to information on chaos magick? It's something that I haven't' really looked into and I have a very insatiable thirst for learning. Besides it seems to resonate with me.
