Hello, though I've been reading the information on the board I never really introduced myself, so "Hello Board Members!!"
But in all honesty, I am an amateur willing to learn about what seems to be life and the universe itself. I was hoping for some guidance in order to start this journey. I have been meditating and been reading all different sources but only experienced very little (yet i've been feeling more emotional lately...)
So if anyone has any pointers, let me know. Also, if anyone were to know why meditating may make me depressed for no reason at all, then I'd be happy to know why!

Well i cannot say that i am new to this website as i registered months before but only when i was checking my other email did i notice that the account i made was still alive
now abt learning more abt life.....well there is so much to learn in life that i really dont where to tell you to start with.....the best thing i think is to try and learn abt urself......the more you know abt ur own weaknesses than there is a better chance of you of overcoming them.....that way you can try to help other people too......
as for meditation......well i cant say that i have truly tried it but i can tell you that it makes a person feel more focused and calm.....maybe the reason you feel depressed is because you are thinking abt sad, or well not so happy things after meditation.....meditation actually improves your concentration and focus so your mind is concentrating on the wrong thing....for e.g after you meditate try doing something like your h.w.....writing ......work or anything and you will definitely feel a change....
Now as for experiencing something....it depends on what you are trying to do....as i said before meditation improves concentration so if you try to do pryrokineses after meditaion there is a better chance of you succeeding.....
Now i may seem very um....experienced but the truth is tht it has only been some months.....actually i dont try to always follow things which are already written on websites but make theories of my own....for e.g i tried to change peoples mood with my own theory.....what i basically mean here is that you should try experiments on your own too....they dont always work but do make you feel a lil better

I have been meditating for over 22 years now and I to sometimes become depressed or feeling down afterwards. This is a good thing!
Here is what's happening. When you meditate your calming your mind and in-turn this helps get your energy centers or (Chakras) working properly. Meditating takes down some of the walls we all put up. The feelings come from unrsolved issues or even successes you had and did not allow your self to feel good about. So sometimes you will feel really good after also.
Heres your home work.
Meditate (which ever one your doing) then take a deep breath and say A-A-A-M-M-M-E in a even slow breath expel all your breath and do it 4 times after your meditation. This will help balance you by vibration and should make you feel better. I'ts called chanting and there are several you can do that make you feel better and keep you healthy. Also try M-M-M-A-A-A-Y-Y-Y. Thats a good one also.
Chanting like meditating is progressive so practice often.
