Shamans!
By Dr Joshua David Stone

Shamans, also called ‘medicine men’ or ‘witch doctors’ are mystics considered to possess superhuman powers and especially adept in the art of healing diseases of the mind and the body! Invoking and working closely with various spirits, they are, however, in the same breath renowned for at times creating illness in the attempt to heal! Obviously it depends on the clarity of the consciousness of the Shaman that determines the integrity, purity, and consciousness of the spirit attracted and invoked. A channel is only as clear as his consciousness, and so is a shaman. A shaman run by their negative ego will attract and channel lower spirits and as such bring about havoc, disease and much more!

Shamans often go into trance in their serving as channels for the various spirits! They usually leave their bodies and are believed to ascend to the sky (heaven of consciousness) or into the earth (underworld). Many Shamans are called through dreams, visions, or even possession by spirits!

More correctly, shaman is a tribal position and is both prehistoric and primate, rather than strictly human. The more tribal a primate social structure, the more likely there will be shaman individuals and the stronger the shaman tribal position. They are, interestingly enough, strongest among the Southeast Asian macaque. Why interesting? There is a pattern of emulation between human and macaque spiritual character throughout the regions where the macaque have been revered, even worshipped, sense pre-civilization. It begs the question ~ is all our self righteous mysticism merely aping our distant cousins? The Japanese macaque possesses the curiosity and social imperatives of the indigenous human population. The Cambodian macaque is decidedly more aggressive and hedonistic, yet very ritualistic and Buddha way, in a Mahatma sense. The Japanese Mountain Macaque are the famed bathers, lounging about much of there life in hot mineral baths, reaching for a Zen calm. The Cambodian cousin ingests entheogens and the shaman (or weir) are most noticeable for their inclination to spend hours on end crystal gazing. The alpha among this subspecies are some of the fiercest of the macaque warriors ~ well suited to “killing fields”. The weaker the shaman weir, the more the tribe reacts in nervous, fitful fashion to the alpha male. The stronger the weir, the calmer and healthier the tribe as a whole. This leads to a tribal reverence for individual weir, almost a very fat, stoned out Buddha figure. Whereas the more Zen mountain macaque is less individualized.

Shamans were part of a race of Golden men; ordinary humans just with a horrifically diverse development of psychic powers. These were later succeeded by the stone men;the majority of the human population today. It is thought that the race of Golden men were dying out; instead of slowly dwindling, they decided to pool their resources into a single human. This man was born a year after all the Shamans committed mass ritual suicide. He is now the man who is guiding humanity towards enlightenment in the stars. He has lived for countless lifetimes and is the hero behind many fairy tales; he is thought to be St George. This man's psychic powers dwarf any other humans powers a hundredfold. He will guide us forward into the light.

Shaman is someone who "knows" is Wise a Sage.

Its trace's are from "Sanskrit" then to early Chinese-Buddists.
In the case of "Native American Indians" Those who held this wisdom felt it to be an impropriety to usurp for ones own gain or any other reason the traditional spirtual realms of others. Walk as one in silence with nature and leave no trace.

Ban Jhankri which means The Shaman of The Forest is intriguing - orginallyl one of the Shamans Gods. The famed Yeti - Abominable Snowman chasing Rudolph.

Ban-Jhankri is believed to be the first Shaman who was taught the knowledge of mastering the spirits by god himself with a promise to teach and pass the technique to the human beings for their welfare. Since then, Ban-Jhankri has been teaching technique to selected persons…

- Above and below quotes from abovetopsecret
Quote:
The Newari shamans (jhankri) say that "the way of the shaman is the way of love". They seek to bring love, harmony and peace to those who suffer from diseases of a spiritual nature since, like most shamans, they recognize that disease can be caused by other, more physical, mechanisms and leave such cases to medical doctors. As in other cultures, the shaman’s role is recognized by the community, not claimed by the individual: he is a jhankari only because others are healed by him, not because he says he can heal them.

Is it possible the various 'tribes' of Bigfoot in North America relatives/descendent's of the Ban Jhankri? Or possibly 'transformed' forest shaman? What about desert shaman? I have been "guided" by unseen, strong, compassionate 'desert' forces while wild harvesting seeds.
