How does the setting on a resistor connected to no operational circuit affect anything and how can it be defined as a RATE if nothing is changing?

How come I nevah got any answers? Add this to the mix. How does changing a resistor when it isn't connected to anything change anything?

The resistor acts like a frequency. In a radionic box resistors are used to represent a change. 1 ohm/ 10/ohm/ 100 ohm this is step up of frequency. Some radionic boxes use Capacitirs some use both. Capacitors hold a charge. By varying the capacitance you can vary the intensity. Many belive that there is a bioenergy which is manipulated by a radionic box through resistors and capacitiors. I tend to think of it as a focusing tool. I once left a radionic box at a friends house. Someone started turning the dials and the cat starting jumping up and down acting crazy. He tried it again and the cat went crazy. The next day he asked me how a box with just wires could do this. He was amazed.

Sorry but resistors are not frequencies all by themselves. In order for a resistor to CONTROL a frequency there must be an active circuit such as a transtistor and other components, usually several of them. The simplest circuit is called a relaxation oscillator. Perhaps you need to consult with a real electronic engineer instead of a radionics guy..

Ah so you admit that a radionics box is nothing but a diagram.

That must have been one of those models that uses screws connected to sandpaper.

Chaim your analysis is flawed. The Great lights of Radionics have declared resistors to be frequencies abd capacitors to be intensities and who are you to disagree?

It looks like the old bate and slander. You asked a question no one seemed to answer you so I did. The capcitors are variable so they can hold different level of charge. As for the sandpaper. I guess this means you don't belive they work. Then why ask about them? Yes many people think that just a pattern will work. many have got great results with that. You don't seem to belive in an bioenergy. I can tell you that thought is an energy. If you can manipulate it you have an unbelivable device. So if radionics only worked as a focusing tool it is worth it's weight in gold. If you can't focus and make changes in the world that is something you should work on.
There is another energy besides the atomic. It is what binds matter together. It is subatomic (no atoms) it is aether, it is spirit. All this can manipulated by conciousness. If a diagram or a box with knobs can consentrate your consiousness Hey.

I remember looking at the question ( at the point where noone wanted to answer), thinking, this is a bait question, and carried on my business, don't ppl have anything better to do then phantom around forums sceptically looking for a place to play devils advocate?
Obviously some ppl really don't ,or are they just trying to impress someone here I wonder?
If you don't believe further (or farther in some cases) than you can see, why try to pull the wool over OUR eyes?
or Perhaps it is just that most of us here see beyond the average scope (literally), I guess that bothers some ppl.......
