I first began developing my intuitive abilities after reading the Seth books, by Jane Roberts. It was a verification of what I already knew. Everything is possible! However, I had no sense of structure and no idea where I was headed. At that time I was not aware of my Source (spirit guides and teachers) and bounced from one thing to another. I tried my hand at dowsing for water and minerals, but it was not for me although some people love it and are very successful. Then I began playing blackjack and poker to see if I could determine what card would show up next. I became relatively proficient but a long way from being satisfied.
One day, recalling my earlier experiences at the local race track, I decided to improve upon my recently discovered abilities. I would use interdimensional sight to predict winners of horse races. That should be easy enough. However, my confidence was eroding and I did not utilize this ability in the beginning. So I bought a racing form and began the tedious calculations to find a winner. That didn't work very well, and I incorporated astrology into my calculations. The combination produced more winners but far short of my expectations. This became very time consuming and computers were too expensive. There had to be a better way.
At that point I decided to concentrate all future efforts on winning what is called the pick six. That requires one to predict the winner in each of six preselected races. Sometimes a million dollars was at stake. I continued using this method for nearly a year before giving up in total frustration.
Now was the time to regain my confidence and connect with my ability to look into other dimensions of reality for the answers. Still not knowing how to proceed I began to wing it. Purchasing more racing forms, I pursued the information to see what would transpire. Nothing! All that information was getting in the way. I decided to obtain racing programs at the track the morning of the races. Still too many details. Nothing again! What to do now. I was running out of options. Then a thought struck me. The newspaper lists all races and all the horses with minimal descriptive data.
Obtaining a newspaper the night before the race would give me plenty of time to make my predictions. Determining how to use the paper was the next step. Over the next two months I experimented repeatedly with different ways to produce consistent winners of the pick six, but once again the results were very disappointing.
Then an another idea came to me. If my mind has access to the future and can provide me the winners, all I need to do is inform the mind how I want the answers given to me. Unknowingly I had been allowing "it" to pick and choose how it would give me the winners. That was the problem all along. I was being given good information, but didn't understand how to use it correctly. I would use meditation as the method to train my mind to provide the winners. I wouldn't need to decipher the information any longer. With the newspaper opened to the races of the day, I demanded to see in my mind, a red dot placed next to the winner of each race as I went down the list of entrants.
It worked! In no time I was able to consistently predict ten winners out of twelve races. The next few weeks produced amazing results. The pick six pool was now approaching the million-dollar mark. My fortune was at the door and I was going to open it wide.
I was now totally convinced that I would win this pick six pool. The following Saturday I drove to the track, placed my bets and returned home to await the outcome. The entire day was filled with anticipation. That evening, after all races had been completed, I called the track to obtain the winners. I had bet the pick six, pick three, the exactas and trifectas, knowing I would win them all. After receiving that information I compared it to my predictions. I almost went into shock! I couldn't believe it! Not only did I lose the pick six along with the other bets, I didn't predict a single winner in the entire twelve races. It made no sense. That had never ever happened before and here I was at my best.
Some time later I pulled my energies together and told myself that it was just a fluke. Tomorrow would be the day. No way could I lose. The pick six was now more than a million dollars and it was still mine. I bought the paper for the next day and made my determinations, still very confident of a major win.
Sunday arrived, sunny and warm. Once again I was filled with excitement knowing I had it in the bag. Arriving at the track about 9am, I placed all my bets and returned home to await the good news. At 6pm I again called the track for the winners. When I compared them to my selections I nearly passed out. Again I had not picked a single winner. My heart sunk to my knees. I had made this my career, my ticket to the good life. My family would have anything they could ever want. How can this be? I went outdoors into the backyard. I felt nauseous and overwhelmed. What would I do now?
After a period of time I returned to my office in the house and sat down at my desk to ponder the situation. A few minutes passed and I felt someone touch my left shoulder. Thinking my wife had come in to console me I turned to face her, but no one was there. I brushed it off as imagination and returned to my brooding. A short time later I felt another touch on my shoulder. I didn't imagine that, I said to myself! Then I heard a soft spoken voice say.
"Indeed it was not your imagination, for it was I touching your shoulder." Know my friend, you pursue that which cannot be. Before coming to this earth it was agreed when in conference with us, that we would intervene if necessary, to keep you on the chosen path. Much has been invested in you and there is no time to choose another for this purpose. I have requested and received the opportunity to show you the way".
I conversed with this talking spirit far into the night taking in all I could, asking questions and taking notes. Everything he said made sense to me. I was awakening to the memories of who I was and why I was here. Not surprisingly I quickly accepted this new direction, for I knew without a doubt the "real" me had just emerged. The quest begins.

Thank you Lenred.
Wonderful story it is. It looks like that in the process of finding a way to win with chance games you have been given a greater gift and understanding.
I also believe that what you said sure is possible, but it may not be for everyone.
Thanks,
mr.bos

Great experience there. The Seth / Jane material is excellent! It's really helpful too if you have an interest in how DREAMING effects your reality.

Wonderful adventure with you Lenred. Gosh I would bet that you are a proffessional writer. Or should be. I would buy your books in a minute.
I worked in the racing office of a small northwest track from 1983 to 1993. It was a small county run operation but it sure was fun. Alas they went el foldo in 1993. The county shut it down. Anyway I was gonna tell you your best bet might be to run a show pool. Pick a show horse and when (or if) he wins throw all the monies back in on a show horse in the next race. That is if your still in the betting mood. (lol)

On the last race day I completed on paper, just before deciding to go for it I picked 12 of 12 winners at Bay Meadows where the six pick pool was over 1 million dollars. With the consistantcy I was achieving I was only going to use the high dollar exotic bets available at the different tracks. Since then I have learned and remembered much regarding my interdimensional pursuits and spirituality and understand why it is not in my path. I have since shelved the horses. Thanks for the comment.

I now understand your story more thoroughly when read, but I could still hear your voice telling it! I actually have a friend that had an incident last night at my home...
As you know things in my life are fitting into a more correct puzzle with your instruction. More and more often the pieces are falling into place with an accuracy and irony that is dumbfounding. The events that took place last night in my house are somewhat disturbing and need to be addressed over some coffee tomorrow maybe?
I trust you know who this is as I have finally been able to check on some of your articles. I hope this is the next step in the RE-awakening of my subconsious...

Awesome story Lenred! I do not doubt it, nor do I doubt your gifts. It is only when we use our gifts incorrectly that they will seem to turn against us. They don't actually, and never do. When we allow ourselves to go a little deeper, such as you did, then we realize this fundamental truth. Our gifts never work against us, but only guide us back to Source. How painful or pleasant this journey may be is entirely up to us.

i too was guided to seth....about 27 years ago....i was in my late teens...already questioning 'what is the meaning of life'...how can i learn how to succeed in my life and create the best out of the bad situations i must have chosen to be born into...
now that my human body is being desroyed by aggresive canser ....i feel remarkably ok about dying...the only thing that makes me upset about it is imagining how i much i will miss my beatiful 17year old daughter...and how hard it is going to be for her without me....and how hard it will be for her watching me die....
the game of life is harsh...and then you die...only to be transported to something else
