more breating in and out is automatically done in this sacred word.
This brings your all body cell in activation form.
You get a state of awakening.

Hmmm, I always thought the word was Om, not Aum. Is this just a different spelling of the same thing, or does it represent something else. I'm assuming the latter.

It is the same word but spelled differently..
O M has two letter
when you have to add three letter
O = A u m............to stretch the word.

I know some other mantrams. Fore example, CHUS to develop telepathy:

CHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSS

The same way, CHAS, CHIS and CHOS to develop other psychiq abilities such as Clayrovoirance or the Third Eye. Try them!

Also, to have a successful OBE , you can use the words TAIRERERE and LARA:

TAAAIREEREEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

LAAAAAARAAAAAAAAAA

LARA must be said while laying on your right side, with your right hand under your head.

Smile I went several meetings ware the teacher taught us about different sounds an how they changed the viberation in an around you, it was very interesting!!
Try wiv the vowels an see wot you think !!

Sound them long until all he breath in you has gone, if they dont do anything for you at least you will fun an if have kids you get them a good laugh Laughing

Instead of physically chanting the word with the mouth. Listin to your inner sound, and change this according to the mantra. I find it works well.
Doing this and chanting would probly be the best way, as you would have physically vibrations of the mantra,plus your internal sound would be matching it.

There was a Mantra to activate the third eye and I believe it went like this "thoe"...with the tongue actually in a raised position by the roof of the mouth.

Yeah there are mantras to awaken different abilities. I have a book on the subject, but its too late here so I will just look for it tomorrow morning and probably post all the known mantras Razz

Yeah the Mantras are basically meditating with the vowels. Here is a list that I found in one of my many books:
