Casting a circle:
A Circle must be cast before any magickal operation including meditation for more than one reason.
A magickal circle is your space between this world and the next. It consentrates your power, enegy and purpose. And it protects you from unwanted attention, influence and harm. Most if not all magical circles are based on the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram. Magickal cicles are cast in the same direction the sun travels through the sky. In actule fact a magick circle is not a circle atoll but a sphere and sould be visualised as such when casting it. below is a link to the Lesser banishing ritual of the pentegram.

Assinment: find a circle ritual you feel happy with or write your own and practice it.
