I am learning the process of Lucid Dreaming because it seems something that would aid my psychic development, but is this another way to do Astral Travel or what? I am interested to know what one can achieve with the power of Lucid Dreaming, please enlighten me.

Lucid dreaming can be used to learn new things or even master many difficult feats.
It is believed that many martial art masters go into lucid dreaming to train and improve their skills.

You can use it to heal yourself.Since you can instantly create any scenario in the lucid dream.It can be used to help you face your fears of different things.
If you are scared of heights,you create a similar situation where you are standing on a tall building and try to get used to it and see it harmless.

You can use lucid dreaming to help prepare you for many things like interviews ,exam tests , competition so it gives you an additional confidence boost in the real life situation.

It can help you with manifestation because you are able experience the feeling of having a particular desire therefore making it easier to visualize it in your awakened state.

Lucid dreaming can help make you happy and joyful when you are feeling down.You can use it to experience a heaven you have always dreamed about. Very Happy

These are just a few.The possibilities are endless.Its a good idea you are learning lucid dreaming.

Lucid dreaming makes astral travel easy to do.If you are able to lucid dream on a daily basis,you would not have problems initiating an astral travel.

For a while, I have had a gap year from my studies into the Occult, but recently I have been going back into Lucid Dreaming. What I tend to do is write down every dream I have and ask my subconcious to remember everything but the is one thing that disturbs me greatly. In my past, I have come across some really wretched people in my time, and I tend to think about them in my waking hours a lot and they tend to arrive to me in my dream state. Any method to get rid of this disturbance, I will appreciate any form of guidance.

What you focus on, you get. Your subconscious (a part called the RAS), calls to your attention that which it's been trained to focus on. This is why you need to focus on what you like, not what you don't like. You'll need to do this consciously at first but, like driving a car, your subconscious will eventually take over and you won't have to think about it.

People are coming to you in your dreams because you've invited them by thinking about them. Ask and ye shall receive.

As a prelude to lucid dreaming, learn dream incubation which will help you get rid of those unwanted thoughts.
