A man wanted to know the meaning of life and he heard there was a very wise man, living atop a mountain in Tibet. This wise man knew untold secrets.

Our hapless first man traveled to Tibet and made the treacherous journey up the mountain, where he found the wise man sitting cross-legged outside his cave.

"Wise man", said the first man "please impart on me the meaning of life!"

"Oh that", the wise man wisely said. "The meaning of life is a teacup".

"What?", the first man asked, incredulous. "I traveled all this way to find out the meaning of life, and you tell me it's a teacup?!"

"OK", replied the wise man, shrugging his shoulders, "maybe the meaning of life isn't a teacup".
