My husband is having trouble coming out of his body. He says he sees a black figure trying to pull him out or he trys to come out and he can't. I certainly can't do it, wish I could, but he really wants to come out. We bought a good book on how to do it, but he is working two jobs and doesn't have time to make a foundation circle or meditate. Anyways, are these figures dangerous or are they merely trying to help him do something he wants? Thanks, piscesgirl

I strongly recommend doing some white light protection work before attempting any metaphysical journey. It doesn't take that long. Very Happy

I agree it is time to clense his aura. Get rid of whatever lingers around him. Don't let him try this until he does something to clense himself. His own superconsiousness is protecting him from leaving because of this entity. Don't worry just be very positive.

Hey.

This being is most likely a friend or guide trying to help him. If someone's perceptions are not too clear, even a high level being can look like a shadow. I don't believe some evil being would be trying to help him out of body in this way. Doesn't seem the being was trying to harm him.

I find there's much less to fear than people give the astral credit for.

My conclusion thus far- a being trying to help.

Well, I'll suggest he cleanse his aura first. he doesn't have any time for anything, though because he works two jobs. I'm sure when he is less busy he will want to pursue this so its helpful that others have some tips. Hopefully it was just a guide trying to help him. Thanks, piscesgirl

In some philosophies (Shamanism in particular), they believe that before one can successfully project, one must first face their shadow selves, their inner demon. It is said that if you are to face it without fear, it will never bother you again...

to bring your inner fear to life and face it, is to put in on show and everyone else can see it too, that could lead to all kinds of pychological and physiological problems. although its true things have to be brought to the surface to be healed, you shouldnt try too hard, just know in your spirit what needs to be done then forget and let it go. it will manifest

The black figure is most likely a mental block of some sort like something troubling or bothering him. My suggestion is have him clear his mind of all thoughts and focus soely on leaving the body.

I see black and white figures, too, at night when I'm staring in the dark. I get too freaked out and ignore them. What is this? Thanks, Lacey AKA piscesgirl

Might be shadow people, they move in the dimensions between shadows. So far iv only known bad shadow people, however it has been reported they save one or two from shadow animals. I can confirm that however I have worked with dark powers and shadows are devious in nature.

The black figure he sees (senses/feels) may actually be himself. When you go out in astral sometimes it feels like someone or something is holding you (stuck to you/holding you back/pressing on you). This usually turns out to be you own physical body (magnetic fields). When you get to the "black figure" sensation, you are already almost consciously fully emerged in full astral. Go with the "vaccuum pull" (he'll know what I mean). You will feel motion. Stay calm and relaxed (or you will discharge the circuit and end up back in you body). Ride the current. Let the "vaccuum" simply pull you out, and go toward the motion - move yourself "your consciousness/sensation) into it, with it. You'll be out in no time...

your husband has nothing to fear. That black figure is his physical mind trying to make sense out of non=physical images. Think pleasant thoughts or use a pleasing affirmation such as;
" As i relax completely and focus to my inner sounds i know that ALL THAT IS is with me and will guide me. "
Repeat this affirmation over and over as his body falls asleep and his mind stays awake. Remind him that where he is going in his OBE is actually home and that we are just gods in training in this physical universe..
