Hi Rachel,
Belated blessed New Year! I intend you all the best. It has been awhile since I've last sought your guidance on a subject. And actually, from our last reading, I copied and have at my desk the book metaphor you shared:
"As a published writer I know the following facts:
1) Books can be open and closed and openned again.
2) Just because a book is published, doesn't mean it can't be revised or given a new edition.
3) Books can have sequels. The story is never over until the author says so, and even then... you never know for certain.
As with books, so is life."
Thank you again, this observation you shared has been very meaningful and relevant to me--beyond the question I had asked.
So, now I turn to you for assistance in finding clarity (still working on trusting my intuition) on a developing relationship. I am in love with a man who in some ways acts in accordance with aspects of past relationships which I prefer not to repeat. I am trying to understand if he is in my life as a significant other-type or if there are lessons I need to learn about myself through the relationship (for the best and highest good) and vice versa before we both move on to our "others".
Any guidance you give or light you shine on this subject, I will be grateful for--and it will probably end up posted at my work desk, too, right next to the book metaphor . Thank you!
Love and light,
Laurie. |
