I've had some very weird and intense experiences over the last week or so, most of which I can decipher and interpret for myself.
However, there is one incident which is troubling me.
I entered Alpha with the intention of connecting to Higher Power.
I was given a strange message: To look up a specific book chapter and verse as Jesus said something that holds great significance to my own life.
That book chapter and verse is Revelations Chapter 30 Verse 10.
Revelations only has 22 books so what I was referred to is nonexistant.
The message did not specifically say Rev 30:10 from The Bible.
I just assumed it meant The Bible because that is the context in which I am familiar with the information given to me.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Or am I just crazy? |

Why would you assume you are crazy?
You initiated an experience..so go with the flow..
"That book chapter and verse is Revelations Chapter 30 Verse 10."
Is this the exact message you heard? |

I both heard and saw it. I saw a message being written for me and at the same time it was being narrated to me. It went something along the lines of this:
"I don't feel qualified to tell you verbatim the exact words but Jesus said something of great importance to your own life in Revelations 30 10".
The message didn't specifically mention Revelations from The Bible nor Chapter 30 Verse 10, just "30 10". I just assumed that's a chapter and verse reference from Revelations in The Bible. |

Hmmm... something to consider. Biblical scholars and archaeologists would readily agree that there may be more religious scriptures in exsistance yet to be uncovered or found in the Holy Land region. And we do know historically that there were many books, texts, codexes and translations of Scripture that were not approved or passed through the Nycene Counsel into the accepted Canon that is our contemporary Bible. We know that there are Gnostic writings and an extensive Apocrypha (sp.?) of books that not all denominations include.
It is also something to consider that from a prophetic point of view and perspective, any message from God through a Prophet would be considered a "Revelation". Your experience may in fact be referring not to the Revelation of John in the Bible, but a Revelation from some other source and some other prophet. One of the most prominent and often referred to prophet other than Muhammed of the Islamic faith was the prophet Isiah. There may be writings that would correspond to 30:10 in the Book of Isiah? Possibly? (I don't have a Bible handy but might be interesting if such a chapter and verse exists in Isiah and what message there might be.)
Just food for thought.

This is an interesting topic, so I went and searched a few possibilities which I here write for you to consider.
First, Rachel's idea of Book of Isiah, chapter 30 verse 10 does exist and it reads
"Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:"
If you would prefer to go with Book of Revelations, there is the concept of integer reduction, where any number can be reduced to a single digit. The number 11, for example, would be reduced to 2 as 1 + 1 = 2.
Therefore, Revelations 30 10 would be Revelations 3 1, which reads
"And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." |
