Recently, I've became very much interested in the mind and psychic powers...well I've always been interested, but I just got back into researching it. At first I stumbled upon lucid dreaming, but I would rather Astral Project. I just tried, and I think I've reached the vibrational state. Confused

This is my first time trying about 10 minutes ago, it took about 20 minutes to reach it, I felt the heat and vibrations of my whole body. The only weird thing was that I had very, very shallow and uncontrolled breathing. I had to catch my breath while I was trying, but I still felt everything. I kept trying to leave my body, but my it wouldn't let me. As I was trying, the breathing only got worse. Shocked

The way I did it was just by relaxing and staring at the blackness under my eyes, then the vibrations just came out of nowhere and I saw color under the blackness of my eyes. I think I'm doing something very wrong.....can anyone tell me what it is? I don't know if age is a factor, but I'm 16 too. Smile

Please help, I would LOVE To be able to do this. Thanks...

Has anyone experienced something similar to this? I would really like some advice..please...anyone? Crying or Very sad

i don't know what to tell but this happens to me too. I've gotten a bit past it but it got to intense and i lost concentration. I got to the point that I was able to see and had an arm out.

Thanks for the reply... but I've also heard that if you do something wrong when trying to astral project the first time, your mind will become closed to it. It seems like that I can't do it as effective as I did the first. The first time I tried..I felt the vibrations VERY MUCH. But now when I try, I don't feel them as much. I was thinking about buying a book on Astral Projection to help me. Any suggestions?

Yeah it can be a bit of a jarring experience if one is unprepared, but I guess just be persistent. I've been meditating frequently for a couple months now and I can almost get deep enough to the point where I can see with my eyes closed like in OOBE/AP. This state is mentioned in Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce, which I highly recommend for anyone pursuing OOBE/AP. Don't give up, and have faith in yourself. The skills you need will come with time.

I've only tried astral projecting once with the help of a recording from Steve G. Jones and it was very successful. I know it's kind of late, I purchased the astral projection program for $1, but its worth the price of the recording if you're serious about astral projection.

I had an interesting experience with AP a couple of weeks ago. I was listening to Somnium by Robert Rich with my eyes closed and I felt like my body was disappeared! I reacted to this and my legs became very tense, but it was a beautiful experience. I found that laying down and doing nothing for a half an hour before trying helps. I also just bought a book on this so hopefully I can repeat the experience.
