* For a long time I've noticed there are alot of psychological manipulators who claim to be spiritual teachers....

* They know how to build rapport, how to anchor certain emotions in you...and more...so beware...and use your own intuition to weed out the fakes from the reals....

* A true teacher will never claim to be a teacher.....

* A true teacher is not looking for followers....

* A true teacher will encourage you to find your own path instead of following the herd or him/her....

* A true teacher just IS.... A true teacher does not boast overly.

* A true teacher considers himself/herself a normal average person just like everybody else.... Not being higher because of the knowledge or experience possessed..

* A true teacher is a student who learns from everyone (the ignorant and the enlightened)

* A true teacher is very humble... but not a pushover...

* A true teacher is a powerful listener and master observer....

* A true teacher is not afraid to shock others....and does not care what others think about him/her..

* A true teacher is not jealous of others...

* A true teacher will speak their truth with no remorse (sometimes comes across as being unloving but it is far from so)...
*

BLESS

This is great!

I've seen these characteristics in my favorite teachers as well as myself Smile

Thanks for sharing d_radent

It is not incorrect for a teacher to admit he or she is a teacher, or guide. To claim to be a 'master' is where the error lies. As for the rest of your breakdown, I totally agree.

There is no need for a real teacher to tell others they are a teacher or guide..That should be evident by itself to the person observing..

Everyone wants to jump on the teacher and guide bandwagon but in fact 99 percent of them aren't qualified or experienced enough to do so..

Admittedly there is no reason to present oneself that way. But I would mcuh rather be considered a teacher than a guru when someone poses the question. I am not here to lead anyone anywhere except down their own road to self discovery.

The greatest teacher is not the one with the most students, but the one who can teach others that they can be teachers.

I would rather be considered as a fellow seeker rather than a teacher although thousands of people see and treat me like a teacher..

A guru is a form of teacher.. A master is a form of teacher..

A teacher is a form of guru and master..

They are all practically part of the same thing..

But not using any of these labels are better..

A teacher just IS...no need to try to tell others or prove to others directly or indirectly that you are a teacher .. You should not be concerned how others consider you..

If you're a natural teacher then people will naturally see you that way.. No need to push that image in their minds..

Everyone is already a teacher in their own right.. Over the years I have ralized that those who claim to be teachers and guides and masters are all really doing it from an angle of trying to convince other people (for whatever reasons) and their own selves (to boost their own image)..

A guru presents himself as a master. I do not and have not ever done so. We are all teachers. But I think this is a simple matter of semantics and differing perceptions as to the meaning of a word. There is really no disagreement here.

This is not about you personally.

For the purpose of this post guru/teacher/master are meant to imply the same thing..

There shouldn't be any case of confusing perceptions.. I hope you understand my perception..lol

Yes, I understand. I just don't perceive the word teacher as equivalent with that of guru. It is my perceptual interpretation of the two words.

I think that our post-industrial society requires education for a happy life. Some people are able to achieve it without graduating from college but you need to have crazy self-control. That's why I decided to go to college. Ofc, sometimes I have difficulties and I have to use the best assignment writing service UK but I like studying.
