Let's see where to start.....well I guess we can go with the obvious!
My name is Brent and I'm 25 years old, living in Oklahoma at the current time. I've lived on almost every side of our nation from Florida, to New Jersey, to Alaska, to Mississippi, and now here in the heartland! I beleive something higher then myself may have guided me here to Oklahoma, because normally I would not choose to live in such an area. I am a lover of the ocean, the mountains, and the winter season! I get very little of that here, but I have found that I sprouted some roots here and have good friends and the most important family member to me , my Mother.
My Mom and I have shared a very close kindred spirit my entire life. I remember going on mushroom scavenging hikes with her in the forests of New Jersey, helping her tend her lovely garden, and studying native american lore with her by fireside. When my parents divorced she moved away and I was too young to go with her, though my heart longed for it. Thus began a hardship of my life that is a bit too lengthy to get into here, but it ended with me reuniting with my Mom in Alaska when I was 15(the legal age to choose which parent I wished to live with). My time in Alaska was short, but spirtually it was long lived. Every day was lived to its fullest and the beautiful nature of Kodiak island became a very part of my being.
Alas, times came where we had to move and we ended up on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi. These were more difficult times for me. I was going to my junior year of highschool there and I had much hate towards me due to my northern upbringing, race, and choice of religion. After a year I had an urgent dream detailing a hurricane hitting the coast there. Upon waking my insticts told me we should move inland, so I explained this to my Mom and she agreed it was probably time to move on. So we ended up in Oklahoma. Here I have been for 7 years now.
I enjoy all aspects of life. I believe work is worship and so I put everything into my work and enjoy it immensely. I have a knack for computers and they have been part of my life since I was a child. This comes from my fathers side. My love for nature and the mystical comes from my mother and I make it a part of my daily life. Nature relaxes and centers me. Spending time on the water is important to me, and I try to do some serious river rafting at least once a year. Hiking is a great passtime and it gives me much time to think about things that are important to me, and explore places I have never been.
I have just recently began practicing the art of pendulum use, and its been pretty exciting. I hope by coming here I can find some great perspectives on the Mystical Wonders of the world and find great people who are just as wierd as I am.
Thats all for now! |
