hi to everyone , I ussually read all the topics of the forums , and see the different points of view of all, but what its difficult to me is understanding my own way of learning magic.
I want to learn and to handle it , because i "know" that it exist , even if I cant see it , but dont know how to use it.
I feel that is in every place , but for myself somethimes i get dissapointed because it doesn work.
Please , all you that have real information and are able to understand my feeling , help me with books or especially experiences, because right now i am tired of triyn fruitless.
For me the magic (i hope nobody minds the absence of the "K" in magic) , is something that can bend the laws of reality , i really believe in this , but i didnt got real results , so somethimes i doubt if it even exist , of at least if i can handle it , or if this is not for me.
I really want to use it efficently , but dont know how , and i dont know nobody that really does it , i only see that everybody talks about it .
Please help me.

I am sorry to be this nosy, but, where are you from?

Now. There has always been misunderstanding with the word magick (magic if you like it like that). Magick is not as science fiction puts it: you wonÂ´t see a fireball be shoot from a wand and burn something down, but you may cast a spell and watch slow results. I am not an expert in magick, though, but have read quite enough.
You should also know that magic has been always thought as the only paranormal science. This is not true, there are many other different arts and sciences that have different purposes, like dealing with energy, healing, making wishes come true (just like Mystx does Razz

) and control the elements. These are only some. People normally think that all these are magick, but no, each one of them is actually an art.
For example, Reiki Healing is obviously known for using the reiki energies to heal. Psychokinesis are all the Psychique abilities. Radionics is the use of different frequencies and waves that will have affect on the physical plane (I dont know anything about these so try the RADIONICS section in this forum). Tai Chi is the art of manipulating energies to have a healthier life. Alchemy is the use of various plants, minerals, and energies to develop substances that will help you; its goal was said to be turning plain lead into gold, and recently some scientists have prooved this is possible, but their true goal was turning the soul into a more purified one.
I am know researching a new Art and Science named Alkedimy, which is supposed to combine all these and more, achieving goals similar to the "Harry Potter" series, if you want to put it like that Razz

thanks fen zero , for your answer , i know that it exist , and that many different arts work with it , but what i really mean is if we can change or at least modify reality with it .
I feel that it is posibble , but i am not like other individuals that can notice it or feel it as a gift , for me it is difficult , but even then i believe in it , but now i am in a point that i feel stuck with theory and i have no success in my learning and use of magic , so i try to cammunicate my situation to peolple that has real experiences and results with it , so maybe i can learn how to work with it too.

Well, yes: you can modify reality, at least to a certain point, depending on how experienced you are. Faith is an important factor, as I always say, so if you believe it is possible (because anything and everything is possible) you will achieve what you are looking for.

Magic is really the application of natural law the only difference is that these laws are subtle as they work primarily on the nonphysical planes. As the initiate progresses and becomes more competant he is eventually able to manipulate not only nonphysical but physical things as welll. This of course usually takes many years of practice. The best way to start if you are really serious is to join a schooll of some sort as this can be of greater assistance when need be.

if you are full of doubts it may be because you lack understanding...

that is how I am. i have to explain everything to my subconscious.. sometimes i must work really hard at it before that part of my unawareness finally "gets it"

and before attempting to do magic, you need to

-have absolute confidence - no doubts

-know exactly what it is you'll be trying to do - CLEAR and precise intent

-be able to concentrate well yet stay relaxed

Merge your desire, focus, and belief to one pure being of and from intent.

Sometimes you may feel that you believe something, and you do, but some part that of you that you're unaware of thinks otherwise - something deep within the subconscious.

I can tell myself I have no fear of the unknown, I embrace the mystery... yet in my subconscious, there is still fear which I am not entirely aware of.. that is why I become startled when something unexpected emerges in dreamwork.. my fear destroys whatever may have unfolded, yet it also teaches me that truly I was afraid.. despite what I thought myself to believe. It is a slow and steady process for me.

Have the will to learn and understand, you will... don't be disappointed if you don't know what you're seeking, but you know there is something within yourself that drives you in that direction..

I don't work magick very often, but each time i do new insight arises, so even if what you've done has not succeeded, you will gain insight to follow as to why your magick has failed... follow that trail and you will get something.

I tell you - this is what I have learned, being the novice that i am. there is much much muchhhh yet to be said, and i am sure many others are able to contribute here as well.

My suggestions to develope magick ability is to first develope your energy flow interception and manipulation abilities....for that is all magick really is.....manipulating or influencing streams of enrgy to aquire desired results. To begin i suggest first just practising absorbing and releasing different energies from different energy vessels....people, trees, talismen, rocks, rivers etc....teach yourself to defrenciate between differnt energy flows and become aware of how those energy flows affect your own energy system. From there begin to practice direction and control of enrgy streams. When your ability to simply retain different energies is strong from there you can begin to combine energies or to alter them.
For proficient magick i agree with evryone else...acceptance of ability or faith is essential. If you do not believe in your manifestaions then they will never manifest. The lack of magick ability within today's society is due to the fact that history has again and again altered human perceptions of possiblity and reality.
Maybe start with simple magick like talismanic magick. Store different energies you aquire in appropriate vessels or talismen. The most effective talismen are usually natural items. When your understanding of differnrt variations of energy increases you will eventually learn what material talismens are best for certain energies.
USe the enrgy stored in your talismens for differnt tasks or magicks. See how differnet situations or people, how differnt energy flows are affected by the release of energy from the talismen. Try directing stored energy to a certain desire or need and observe the results.....remeber to analysis what went wrong and what went right. Study is the only way to increase magick ability.
IF a comprehension of energy interception, direction and manipulation is possessed you can then begin to expand your magick. Directing and manipulating much larger energy sysytems. Though for this a strong knowledge of teritory enrgy influencers (Planets, elements, time, moon phase etc) is needed.

I agree with what people are telling you... basically it takes patience, practice, education, and understanding. Most of all though, it takes the total belief that what you are trying to manifest is possible. You must believe it so completely that all doubt is gone... and then, magick happens. I've seen it, I've done it, BUT even though I've been a practicing witch of over 20 years there are still times when I can't seem to make the magick happen. (Or at least it doesn't happen the way I think it should.) I think that's why they calling it "practicing" magick! Stay positive, it will happen.

A good book is Laurie Cabot's Power of the Witch. She has several exercises in it that can be quite helpful. I hope this helps.

thanks for you advices, sorry for not answerign before , but its only that i didnt knew that there where new posts.
I am working on it , but frankly , beating my big fears seems like mobçving a mountain , especially when i dont know if all my faith and intention or good will , will give me what i desire.
Please , if anyone can , help me woth this , i will and i am deeply grateful.
