I am brand new here, last night around 11 pm I was driving and I looked up at the moon and saw a "fushia" colored rectangle below the moon. I was trying to keep looking at it without getting in an accident, but then it was gone. Does anyone know what I saw? I have been trying to figure it out and ended up here, What a kool forum.

First of all....Welcome 
I am not certain of what you say, they may be several things:
1.- You really saw a portal or something similar.
2.-You saw a Ufo or group of UFOs...
3.-You were too tired and just started imagining things..
4.-Your eyes played you a trick. This is very common. Usually when you are starring at a blank space (a black space  ) your eyes start seeing things that really don´t exist, like small lights that are there just for a second, or more commonly just flashes that move around your peripherial vision (if that is the word) xD.
What is your theory? |

| I'm going to go with Fen Zero here cause that isnt descriptive with enough knownledge to tell what it is you really saw. |
