I am new to past life regression. Just earlier on today i purchased a past life regression pack online and put the mp3 which last 39 minutes 58 seconds onto my ipod. Only later today i dimmed the lights to my room and lie don my bed to use this mp3. It was amazing. I purchased the whole package for $39. If anyone is interested i can link you the site.This includes 2 ebooks and 2 mp3s. One for beginners and one for intermediate users. I used the one for beginners.

So here i write the scenes and images of what i experienced during the recording which i must say does an excellent job at getting you into an extremely relaxed state of mind. I feel as if it has gotten me closer to the theta brainstate than actual mp3 designed for theta relaxation. Please take this seriously because i am taking it seriously and i am not wasting your time with some stupid story just for fun. This is a real experience

So here goes. I first got images of me being in a jungle setting.A rain forest to be precise. I was wearing jungle camouflage and was deep in a rain forest area full of trees and bushes. I was then guided by the voice on the mp'3 and i soon imagined my home during that time. It was not a fancy place. very homely and simple. Not big, quite small and plain. The rooms were dark lit and quite dim. Later my mind got sudden images of people who were in the house with me. The voice on the mp3 got me to walk up to each person and gaze into their eyes to try and create a connection with that person. The first image i received was of a lady with dark long hair and tanned skin. Quite a beautiful girl i was seeing in this scene. She was wearing clothes that made her look like the typical housewife. She had slippers on. A long skirt that went down past her knees but not too far down and a sleeveless shirt. However not exposing any cleavage. The emotional connection i received from gazing in this person's eyes( as instructed in the mps) was that she was my lover. Perhaps my wife. She seemed a very conservative lady and i received vibes that she loved me very much and was extremely faithful and loyal to me and i also adored her during that lifetime. A name suddenly popped up in my mind and that was " Bella". However that came on it's own and the voice in the mp3 did not make me do anything to find a name. However she was about 28 years old and so was i. This was all around the early to mid 80's era

I did the same thing with the other person in the house, who was a little boy around the age of 7 years. I got a vibe that he was my son. i was not really as fond of him as i was with my wife. Another random name popped into my mind and that was " Jorge".

So far this seems to be my family. We were not wealthy. We were just managing to get by.

Later throughout the process of past life regression images were received of me and some other men wearing similar jungle camouflage as i was, being held captive in an underground area. We were all being tortured throughout the days. However i managed to escape and i was psychologically scarred because my best friend who was with me was executed right in front of my eyes. The men executing us were also wearing jungle camouflage.

Later on i watched another scene in my mind where i was once again in the same underground "torture room" and this time, the two people i mentioned earlier who appeared to be my wife and son were also in there with me. I saw them get executed in the same manner the men i was there previously with were. This was done by gunshots to the head. This was done because they wanted information from me and i refused to tell them. But when they threatened to kill my family i gave them whatever it is they wanted. Seconds later they still killed my family and left me to suffer emotionally. I once again escaped i killed the man who was in charge of the men who were my enemies but was however killed in action as i was escaping.

This makes a lot of sense to me because i am very cautious of people in these present times. It is extremely hard for me to trust someone. EXTREMELY HARD!! i really honestly have a hard time trusting people. And about me being less fond of the boy child. In this life i adore little girls( don't take it in the wrong way) but i really do not like young boys as much. I also have the tendency to avoid the females of today's society because i know what their shallow nature is like.( no offense to females. ) I despise the modern values of females as i am an old fashioned person. Maybe this is because i am subconsciously comparing them to how wonderful my beloved wife was in my previous life. I also find it very hard to trust females and out of all the females that have had crushes on me, i was hesitant to start anything with them i simply did not trust their type.
I also love jungle stealth in real life. I love stealth video games and films and soldier sort of stuff. This could be because i was a soldier or a gang member in a past life. In the scenes i viewed during the recording i escaped the underground torture chamber for the second time and i got my revenge. This related to me in present times because i always have thoughts of getting back at people who have done wrong to me.

In conclusion, maybe i was a cartel member who belonged to a cartel that was at war with another cartel. I found the experience so beautiful and fascinating. Thanks for taking the time to read. Please feel free to discuss the topic of Past life regression and to even share your own experiences.

Thanks for sharing your regression story!

A few points that I can make about your "perfect example" story. Years ago I interviewed Dr. Shelley Kaehr on my Metaphysical Radio Show. Dr. Shelley has conducted many past life regressions from her office in Dallas, Texas and is the author of numerous metaphysical books. Dr. Shelley talked about the tendency for people to identify with famous people of the past including biblical figures and this identification with historical celebrities is often evident in past life regressions.

Dr. Shelley mentioned that at one point she had regressed six people who all claimed to be Cleopatra in their previous lifetime! We joked about this on the air and Dr. Shelly said that certainly the real Cleopatra would have chosen a better place to reincarnate than Dallas!!!

My point here is that one of the pitfalls of hypnotic regression is that many people cannot accept the possibility -or the reality - that so many individuals had past lives that were mundane, ordinary or primitive by today's standards. Most certainly very few of us once had past lives as Kings, Queens, Scientists or Religious Figures. One of the greatest challenges therefore, in successful past life regression work, is to be willing to face the TRUTH about our past!

You yourself were able to face your own personal truth about who you were and how you lived before and you are in this regard a positive example for others!

I know that facing the truth about our past lives can sometimes be quite unpleasant and painful. When I was in attendance at a Pagan Solstice Event many years ago I witnessed a young girl in past life regression who began to re-live a desperate choking for breath because the umbilical cord was wrapped around her tiny neck. Thank God the hypnotherapist was experienced in dealing with birth trauma incidents. By the time the time that session ended, the girl was smiling and the session ended happily!

I've never forgotten that situation and it is important to recognize that entering into the unknown of our past lives can be somewhat like navigating through a mine field. Will we find ourselves basking in the sun on some lovely tropical island? Or thrust suddenly in the middle of a battle in some ancient time? It takes genuine courage to pursue our "roots" through past life regression. That, and a willingness to accept the unlikely probability that we were once a Goddess of Ancient Greece or the King of England, but most likely the offspring of a shoemaker of modest means.

I had several regressions with Dr. Helen Wambach in the 70's in Santa Rosa, CA. A group of about 12 signed up for her class--she was researching for her book. We went to some place where we lay down on blankets, while she took us thru the steps to place us in hypnosis. We could pick our own time period, and had us come up thru ages as child, 16 years old, and at death. One I recall was in circa 1500 living in Babylonia, going to well with my daughter talking and laughing taking back the washing in basket. Later at my death scene I was dressed in black on cot, my daughter crying by me, and then the most wonderful beautiful feeling I have ever felt leaving my chest. I thought afterwards I would not fear death again. I had other regressions, they were all pretty ordinary. But that one where I felt the spirit leaving the body I will never forget. Dr. Wambach has since passed but she did write her book telling about her research with past-life regression.

I think it is true that people have high expectations when going into a session and that alters what the would be exposed to if they were to go in neutral minded.
