Hi,

I've become disillusioned with the human race in general. The way people treat each each other, the lack of respect towards fellow human beings, the superior attitudes of certain people, the prejudices, the downright idiocy of some people on this planet...it's all just awful. I get so angry at the people who show this sort of behaviour towards fellow humans. It makes me so angry. How do I reconcile this?

Kaydon, do you know that like attracts like? The more you dwell on and agonize over such thoughts and the more attracted to them you are...

Your kinda like your own worst enemy at this stage of the game.

And before you self-detach yourself from the human race on the basis that they are so evil, why don't you go hunting for some of the goodness that has time and time against defined our race!

If you truly desire it, you will find it.

Man. I sound cliche. But hey man. I was there at one point in my life too. But I gotta tell ya, the grass is WAYYYYY greener on the other side. Smile

Here is another way to to look at what is happening in the world. This earth operates under the universal law of 'dominance'. In a nut shell this means everyone is here to learn self dominance (control over one's own thoughts and actions) and allow everyone else to do the same without interference from others. We seam to be slow learners. Karma, as many people call it, and race karma is also involved here. What we do, always produces ramifications, whether positve or negative. There is no such thing as an accident and most of what happens was agreed upon before reincarnation. Of course other things happen due to the choices and descisions we make everyday.

We cannot save the whole world but, we can contribute love and healing energy instead of anger/fear to people and the earth. This helps advance the spiritual evolution of mankind, that one day our thoughts and actions will become positive and loving. And one day we will all realize that everyone is of the same divine spirit and all related. When we hurt or have anger and resentment toward another, we are also damaging ourselves. Been there and done that.

This is all well and good. I understand my role in events around me and what is required of me. I'm reassessing why people in my life treat me as they do. So far the only conclusion I've left is negative karma from a previous incarnation. I must have been one hell of a bad ass!

You are self aware so you see what they do, while the others do not care, so they don’t seem to notice.
Since you are self aware, you handle more of the weight or responsibility that they are unwilling to take for their own actions.
You are a feeler, so you will feel much, both good and bad. So perhaps not see it as you are being punished for something you did. But see it as your senses are stronger with feelings, so you feel extra - which includes negative and positive of what they do.
What is your star sign? You seem empathetic.

What Alastan and Lenred said is good - for you to focus on the more positive people who can help reinstitute your hope in humanity.

And think of each person as a light with a switch. Some are On and shine brightly. Some are Off. While others are barely On but could be brighter.
Now if you feel compelled to make a difference, then you can try to help switch On the lights in others by contributing love and healing energy as lenred said.
It takes effort and responsibility to do this for others, but if one does not do this, then who would?
You can be that person and make a positive difference in people’s lives! - since you can detect and feel if their light is On or not.

And with gifts granted to you, comes responsibility. Those with little will not be expected of much. But those with much will be expected of more - to do something with those gifts or talent.

Now when you feel overwhelmed or drained from working with less positive people, then seek ones who shine brightly, as to help energize yourself.

Use the Law of Attraction to attract loving, powerful, responsible and bright people - to build yourself up.
Then use Free Will to find those who could use love, those who are weak, those who haven’t learned to be responsible, those who could use more light - to build them up.
What this means is you gather light and love, then you direct it to those who need it.
By doing this, you are emulating what Archangels do, which is to channel light, love = energy.
For in the end, with more lights On, humanity as a whole will shiner brighter, and thus you will feel more peace.

Try this.

Program yourself for one day. Convince yourself that you are a God and everyone you come in contact with is a God or Goddess.

Just try it for one day and you may be surprised at the results.

I've felt the same as you Kaydon and still do on occassions. Yeah the human race isn't perfect, but that's why we are here. To help grow and understand with the human race so that we can achieve a brighter future tomorrow. We all face challenges, some through finance problems or love, to questioning one's own beliefs and so forth. Their tough (they don't call them challenges for nothing Razz

) and we have to constantly fight, but we can overcome them. As Lenred said a bit about, we have a "Race karma". Our collective consciousness of mankind is at stake. If we don't hold the reins and push forward, then the apathy of humanity will grow even larger than it already is.

I would relax a bit now, listen to some music, hang with good friends, or just stop thinking deeply for a bit. No more philosophy, politics, or spirtual discussions for a day Razz

just enjoy the moment. Meditate freely without worrying about getting into a higher level. Relaxtion in its finest, is all.

You know this all reminds me of the movie the Matrix (or Plato's The Allegory of the Cave). Before we are unenlightened, stupid, and happy people. Ignorance is bliss. Until one day the cave of our existence opens up and we become blinded with the light. We learn the truth about the world and we get angry...We cast it out, ridicule it, and fight to get away from this truth but eventually a point comes where we accept it and then try to help others to come into the light as well. Thats all we have to do. Help and hope that a brighter day comes for everyone.

Hi Raven,

Thanks for your kind and thoughtful words. It's funny that you should mention The Matrix analogy, for that's exactly what it's been like these last few weeks or so.

I was happy because I was living in ignorance, then my eyes were opened and I was in utter despair for a while. Now I seem to have calmed down a bit and am trying to share my love and light with everyone Smile

There are two immediate problems with this.

1) Most people are happy to be living in ignorance and the misery of situations they are not even aware they are in. If they are aware, they perceive the simple way out of it to be so simple as to be preposterous. Everything must be complicated it seems. This is strange to me.
2) This could very well be "[my] calm before [my] storm".

Whenever I felt like humanity had lost its ways or if I learned too much/fell too deep into the rabbit hole, it helped me to find other people with the same ideas. I'm sure you have friends who are at least slightly informed of what life is really like or who are open-minded to subjects on this site that would seem taboo anywhere else. You should talk to them about some of your ideas (because i'm guessing, from personal experience, you have loads of questions and ideas you probably just want to get out in the open) and maybe learn a thing or two as well.

Theres alot of people that don't like to think for themselves, let alone think deeply...It's unfortunate, but all you can do is wish them well and be on your way. From what I'm getting, you seem to be a very caring person to your friends and some things have just disappointed you. You must be an empath too and yes it can hurt like hell sometimes...but you've probably seen some amazing feeling from it too, that others just dont feel as often. The best advice I ever got was that sometimes you should be "selfish". Not to say that you should only think of yourself and be greedy, evil, so on and so forth. But that you can't worry about everyone no matter how hard you try...You can only hope their lives will turn. Now would be the time to focus on the most important story in the world: Yourself. You are not a chapter in someone else's book, or a page for others...You are your own epic story, filled with your own power, and shaped to your desires. I know the feeling of negativity makes you think you can only go deeper, even though you know thinking positive is the answer. But its never too late to take back your power.

I think your storm will pass, if it hasn't already and you will become one of the leaders for the next generation. Then the calm will come Very Happy

, go youtube things or go on google and just try to find random funny things. As much as I love to learn all this secret knowledge and expand my mind...Sometimes you need to get away from it and ground yourself just a bit.
