Hi! I just want to ask what significance it has if my birthday falls on a date wherein sometimes, my zodiac sign is gemini, and sometimes, it's considered cancer. I don't know, ever since I started reading horoscopes, I get confused because my birthday falls on June 21st, sometimes Gemini's cutoff is June 21, but sometimes, Cancer's got the June 21st date.
Am I an in-between? And if there is such thing as an in-between, am I supposed to have a mix of both Gemini and Cancer's traits?
Thank you very much!

I'm no complete expert but I do know from all my astrological books gemini has the may 22-june 21 date. Cancer begins June 22-July 23. But another thing to consider might be the approximate time you were born. Maybe you should check this out furthur with a certified astrologist.

Hi Kit,
I've seen talk about "in-between" in astrology, it's usually called "cusps." However, I think you will find, if you cast your chart with more specifics, that you are either one or the other.
There are places like astro.com where you just enter your birth data and the computer will run your chart. (Interpreting it is another story!) You need to know your birth city and birth time for it to be accurate.
If you know your birth time is very accurate, you may find it helpful to read the daily horoscope for your rising sign instead of your sun sign.

It is called being on the cusp. Depending on your sign, this falls roughly between the 17th to the 25th of the month.
You are not alone, most people on the cusp can identify with both signs, some more than others; and some who follow astrology closely know which traits of which sign they most closely identify with.
There is certainly no harm and makes sense to take note of what you may find helpful in both signs.
It also helps to remember that not just your sun sign alone establishes your profile, but all the other planetary positions, ascenders and desenders and all the rest, which is why a chart is a very individual thing.
You should also keep in mind that being a Gemini, the sign of the twins; like Pisces, the double fish; you can be considered as having a dual nature of sorts...sometimes considered fickle...and in very old-fashioned customs called two-faced, and unable to make up your mind. However, I think you should think of this as being highly adaptable and able to readily accept change.
So, because of all these things, you can see that it is indeed perfectly normal to feel the way you do, and I hope you can enjoy your horoscope now more fully because of it!

Yep, being on the cusp is common. And actually most signs can be split into two different types depending if they fall at the beginning half of the sign or the last half. For example I'm an Aquarius, however I was born on the 25th, which is 4 days after Capricorn becomes Aquarius, and in turn I am your classical Aquarius with Capricorn influence, though I'm very anti establishment, yet I still work within them easily enough, and do have some irklings (Despite the fact that I can't stand them) of wanting to climb the ladder to a place of weath and power. Now on the other hand my sister in law is a Febuary Aquarius, and with her being so close to pieces has a very one foot on earth, one foot in the sky feel to her(A classic of most Pisces ppl).
Plus what they said is true, its only your sun sign your talking about, and though all those horoscopes are based on the sun signs, its only 1/12th of your total horoscope aspects.
