It was more of a coloring exercise really, but I have never considered myself artistic, and aside from a few submarines that I would draw using a ruler during church, I hadn't drawn anything in almost 20 years. I had a blank wooden art box with some markers that I brought for a friend and I got the urge to draw while I was hanging out with the girl who has opened my awareness to the other posibilities and forces that we interact with. Looking at it now I see some interesting symbolism. Particularly the use of serpents, and at least interesting to me, the serpent that represented myself, looking into a mirror at another serpent, with the reflection of yet a third in the water flowing by. |
