I'm not a practicioner of Magick, nor do I know anything about it, but I am a practicioner in the martial arts, including: Jiujitsu, Ninjutsu, Muay Tai, Taekwondo, Karate, and Yoga.
I was wondering if anybody could teach me of any ways that I could augment my physical abilities. I often feel inhibited in my movements, sensing that that extra burst of speed or a significant portion of my strength are just out of reach. I can feel them, but I need to tap into them to reach my maximum effectiveness in combat.
Incidentally, I mostly fight in pre-set matches in amateur MMA (mixed martial arts). I don't fight when I feel somebody could get hurt (such as on the street), so don't mistake my intentions. I want a competitive edge, not a means of destroying another person.
Any input would be appreciated. I've looked around, but I can't seem to find anything relevant to combining the physical and metaphysical into one. |

I suggest experimenting with chronokinesis and maybe channeling energy into specific parts of your body, i.e. bicepts for good punches.
You could also use radionics to help train, to pump up your orgone while you pump up your muscles.

That's fine, no worries my friend!
Chronokinesis is bending your perception of time with your concious mind. One exercise you can do is to try slowing down the ticks of a watch. First you get yourself into a relaxed state, as relaxed as you can possibly get without falling asleep. Then get something that ticks by the second, like an analogue clock or watch. Close your eyes, and concentrate strictly on the ticking. Be able to know when the next tick will be. Then imagine the ticks becoming very gradually longer. You could also visualize yourself stuffing extra time between the ticks. When chronokinesis is mastered, you can use it to visualize your fights going more slowly, and you can react more quickly. There is a topic on chronokinesis in this forum, just search for it.
You could also try channeling your energy into your legs and arms before a fight. You do this by getting into a relaxed state, and then imagining the energy flowing from your whole body into your limbs. The energy will build up, and give your muscles a little extra "umph" in your competitions.
Radionics also deals with your energies, mostly orgone. Orgone energy is chi, and it is the "life force" energy. It surrounds everything that is alive, and some have more or less than others. Radionics is using machines to concentrate and channel this energy, which could then be used during a workout to give you extra power to put into your muscles. Radionics is a very broad subject, so try googling it or going to the radionics section of this forum.
