it really depends on:
-how much you're willing to work to develope this power
-how much you 'practice' on other people both in private (easy/moderate) and public (difficult)
-talking to your subjects you're practicing or working on (so they feel more comfortable, rather than obsessed with you but freaked out because they dont even know you personally)
-developing other powers as well (it may seem irrelevant, but it does balance your mind and when one power improves, it makes your other powers so much easier to improve on as well)

Ah. Do you think they could be used to bring someone who doesn't like you to... A middle ground?
Also, what if the person you're trying to influence is.... Well, prefers the same sex? (Ie. Trying to influence a lesbian [[or even, for a girl, influencing a a gay man]])

There are ways to make yourself more attractive to the person, but if we're talking about switching sexual preferences, that causes a whole host of additional problems for yourself.

i dont know if it will change their sexual preferences, but i do know they will think more highly of you and see you more as a friend. I believe there will be some attraction there. If you're aiming at changing their preferences, a lot of work must be done, at least every day until results occur (it may be months or not even at all).

Yes I must agree. I definately changes somones opinion of you. I'm saying this out of personal experience. I had not only changed her opinion of me but I have also seen sighns of attraction, either consious or on a more subliminal level, and It was a matter of weeks. Note that that was the time when I was a begginer to all this mind power stuff, but what I lacked in skill and experience, I made up with my enthusiasm.

You should also consider how this person would feel, if they knew you used a form of deliberate mind control for something so contrary to a part that defines who and what they are. Would they be fine with the idea that they became your puppet?
