I am trying to understand manefestation. I cannot get beyond the idea that it is selfish and/or stealing. I feel there is a backlash consequence to it. I would like manefestation to be okay but how is it that you are not taking something (or energy) from a lifetime of your own (past, present, or future) or from someone else's? If you are asking for something, you do not have it. To get what you are asking for, it has to come from somewhere. Additionally, is it not trying to force your own agenda onto the Universe? Confused

Now, if you have done work to remove a block and something positive occurs in your life as a response, that is understandable. However, I am referring to people just wanting things, etc., and expecting to be given them just because they want them - and this is okay? Confused

Please help me relieve my confusion.

I was going to give you the long version but decided I have to much to do today:P But here it is in a nut shell. What you are really manifesting is a wholeness feeling inside of you. And through that you can decide to manifest what ever it is you are desiring. But in most cases when you are there (feeling whole) you don't care to take the manifestation any further because you are so feeling whole (your true state) that now the manifestation does not need to come. But here is the weird part. It does anyway. That is because you are not separate from anything. It look like good things are just happening out of the blue but it is really you giving thing to you. You are letting the universe (which is really you) know that you are allowing good things to come you way.

I am not sure where you are getting the stealing thing from? If people are stealing then you have to know that that is not what this is about. And this taking energy from other people and backlash and what ever. There is none of that. Again I am not sure where you are getting that from? But I hope that helps you to start to understand what this is really about. It is not to compete with people. It is quite the opposite.

You should find out what it is for you before you make judgments.

Thank you for your response. I am trying not to make judgments which was the reason for the question.

The information I ran across was in a book I checked out of the library. I do not remember the name. It was discussing manefestation and the law of attraction. The opinion is of the author. However, when I tried manefestation after reading about manefestation on this site, the book's message kept me from being successful. I believe the main point of the author was that there is a particular amount of energy in existence, even if you count all dimensions and universes. The person continued with the idea that this energy has a place it is 'supposed' to be based on the flow of creation. And the basic conclusion was that if the energy gets changed from its course based upon an individual's desire then somewhere, someone or something is no longer getting that energy that it would have gotten if the alteration did not occur. This was the author's definition of 'stealing'. A part the author was missing, based on your explanation, was the feeling of wholeness you described. The individual was not addressing that the true self was involved in the process.

Because I found some logical flow in that opinion (not realizing that the true self was involved), I asked the question hoping for a better understanding of manefestation. This is a new vocabulary word for me. People seem excited about the topic. I wanted to be too; and since I was not, I knew I was missing some information. You having generously provided me with this missing info. Again, I thank you.

I understand what you have described and have been successful, inadvertently, in manefestation without knowing its name. I was successful, at least, until I realized I was doing it and then it stopped. With your information, I do not believe that I will be quite as shocked as in the past if this occurs again.
