Whenever working on your astral traveling techniques, do it on a recliner. Not laying completely horizontal not only helps with obe's, but helps out tremendously with lucid dreaming.
Another trick is to read obe books before settling in to do the techniques. This greatly influences the probability of having an obe.
Consistency is key. Work on your techniques daily, without fail.
I'll list more tricks if anyone is interested. |

Here is one method which may work, but it is hard to start off with.
Lie on your back and for a while, get yourself comfortable by relaxing each muscle in your body and let your thoughts go adrift.
Now I come to the hardest part, which sounds simple but this needs a proper method of mental control to acheive it. Get an image, into your mind, say a Tarot card picture like the Sun (positive ones please, to start off with) or any other image of your personal choice and keep it in your mind for at least 5 to 15 minutes. This will enable the start of astral travelling.  |
