Hello

I hear a humming sound during meditation.When the sound is deeper I feel that the meditation is deeper .I am wondering if I am reching Alpha or Theta levels here ? Anyone else with a similar experience ?

Interesting you should hear this.

I hear a high pitched sound. Sometimes I hear it with my left ear, sometimes with my right ear and sometimes with both. The sound is not as such to disturb my concentration though. I always assumed it was something of a spiritual nature but really don't know for sure what it is. Maybe some spiritual entity trying to communicate, I heard people say that when an entity that is predominantly of the female energey communicates with you it will happen on your left side/ear and vice versa with male energy.

I take it as meaning that there is a message somewhere around the time that I hear the sound for my benefit, my higher self/guides are letting me know this via this sound. This doesn't only happen when I meditate, it can happen while doing just about anything and I alone will hear the sound.

That explains why once, for a while, I heard a beautiful music, but only in my one ear. It was awfully quiet, then completely faded, and I haven't heard it since. It might have been the most beautiful sound I ever heard.

I suppose someone was trying to talk to me?

I have the sound of cicadas in my head constantly, whether meditating or not.

You may also want to look up the Hu sound online.

It could also mean that you're highly sensitive to the tectonic plates when they move. I've often experienced the high pitched ring in my left and now I'm getting the sound in my right here sometimes.

as for the humming sound. i get that too and it does get louder for me the deeper i go. it becomes easily noticeable in alpha and in the few times I've experienced a theta state it was quite loud (not disturbing though). also when i get into a fairly stable theta state i can also automatically use a sort of aura vision (seeing with my physical eyes closed)
