For one don't refer it as a ki ball. I know you can call it any name really it's just a pet peve of mine to misuse certain terminology and all. Anywho for one just practice and gather energy. That's all it is for really but you need to practice. You can try moving it about and experimenting and what have you to get more of a mastery with it.

There are many things you can do with a ki ball, Very Happy for example I make the energy from the ball surround my fist before punching a wall. This way it doesn't hurt and I get better at controlling my ki energy.
Just be creative, you can do a lot with it, Smile I also use the energy to protect my fingers when touching something hot. I need some practice though........... Smile
