last night, i slept with rose quartz and turquoise gemstones underneath my pillow. i woke up several times to find them clenched in my hand. i woke up feeling great, but as the day progressed, i was an emotional wreck.
helpful input?

Rose quartz flows with unconditional Love. This is the single most powerful force, and everything that is not unconditional Love is merely an illusion.
After accepting this truth, you can allow your physical and astral bodies to be filled with Love. When a person "falls in love", that feeling they get is the Heart Chakra being filled with Love, because the Heart Chakra is used to transfer emotion between people. Thus, "I love you with all my heart" bla bla bla.
Allowing the Love to flow through you is the natural state of bliss we all came from and will all return to. However, due to not flowing for a while, some "junk" has piled up. Think of it as a river that has dried up... As soon as it starts flowing, it will pick up all the crap from the bed, all the negativity, fear, etc. This crap will be picked up, so that it may be washed away.
Don't worry about this, this is good. Letting Love flow in your life directly has this side-effect, to say. It will get rid of all your latent problems, and this pain will rise, but don't worry, it's completely temporary. Love will clear out all the crap you've been holding on to.
It actually happened to me, more than three times, that a person near me would start getting angry, or just cry for no reason after looking at me. I flow with Love, and just being near someone who does allows it to flow through you. A person who has crap they need to get rid of, will subconciously accept this Love into themselves and very quickly feel the repercussions of the crap rising, and it will be removed from them fully.
It's very temporary.
Hopefully you'll continue to meditate with the Rose quartz, and send Love to, well, everyone. I haven't used a quartz, but I pretend to have one in my hand sometimes and it has the same effect.
