I’m new to the forum and I tried to search for previous posts or answers to my question, but I couldn’t seem to find anything. I recently cleansed my crystals with the sage smudge stick I bought. However, I’m wondering about how people maintain their’s. I’ve found that the end is mostly burnt / black while the rest still is yet to be light / burned. Is the black burnt part supposed to fall off? Or, should I cut it off to be able to better burn the rest of it?
I guess I’m just confused if I keep using the stick and just lighting it lower than the burnt part since it doesn’t light at the already burnt part or if I’m supposed to try to light the already burnt part and eventually it will light or ash off??
Hopefully someone knows what I mean, but if not I can send pictures to make it make more sense  . Thank you for reading!! Sorry I’m new, so I hope it isn’t a dumb question. |
